The ‘Transformation of Worth Process’ uses Integrative Therapy. Integrative Therapy works with both the conscious and the unconscious parts of our mind; to deal with and overcome the challenges we are experiencing in the here and now.
Integrative Therapy is a ‘psychodynamic approach’. An approach which considers the psychological forces that underlie human behaviour, feelings and emotions and how they relate to early life experiences.
Integrative Therapy involves the Psychotherapist drawing on a variation of techniques from different ‘schools of thought’:
Psychodynamic- (Gestalt Therapy, Life Story Work);
Psychoanalytic- (Transactional Analysis- Parks Inner Child Therapy;
Adaptive Information Processing Therapy (CBT Based)-Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy; Brain Spotting and Integral Eye Movements).
(Please see Blog section on the website for more details).
The ‘Transformation of Worth Process’ is NOT a one-size fits all approach. It puts YOUfirmly at the heart of the process. The exact techniques used, will depend on what’s going on for you right now and what you want to achieve. It will also depend on experiences you may have had in the past and how they may be affecting you today.
