Here are a some of the problems and challenges you may be experiencing at work or in your career…

  • You’re a ‘workaholic’ or ‘perfectionist’ largely through fear of being deemed as not being good enough
  • You’ve been discriminated against, perhaps due to a ‘silent disability’ such as dyslexia, dyscalculia or ADHD
  • You ‘ve been on the receiving end of workplace bullying and as a result have no respect for the person who manages you or calls themself your ‘boss’.
  • You feel angry about how you’ve been treated, unsupported, undervalued or overlooked
  • You struggle to believe in yourself when it comes to your job or your career
  • You feel no-one really listens to you or values what you have to say
  • You struggle to host a meeting or deliver a presentation as no-one seems to take you seriously
  • You’re totally overwhelmed and worry about disciplinary action as a result of not hitting targets
  • You rely on food, alcohol, medication, or recreational drugs as a way of dealing with stress at work
  • Perhaps (like so many people right now) you’re feeling vulnerable or worried about returning to work

Here’s what those who are experiencing problems in the working environment say they want instead …

  • To feel confident in themselves and in the role they are in (regardless of any ‘silent disability’ they may be living with)
  • To feel able to handle difficult situations that arise and to stand up for themselves and what they believe in (where needed)
  • To have others listen to them, to feel valued and respected by those around them
  • To feel calmer, more in control and be able to bounce back when things knock them off track
  • To feel clearer and confident about making the right choice when it comes to their job or career moves

How does the ‘Transformation of Worth Process’ help?

The ‘Transformation of Worth Process’ uses Integrative Therapy.  Integrative Therapy works with both the conscious and the unconscious parts of our mind; to deal with and overcome the challenges we are experiencing in the here and now.

Integrative Therapy is a ‘psychodynamic approach’.  An approach which considers the psychological forces that underlie human behaviour, feelings and emotions and how they relate to early life experiences.

Integrative Therapy involves the Psychotherapist drawing on a variation of techniques from different ‘schools of thought’:
Psychodynamic- (Gestalt Therapy, Life Story Work);
Psychoanalytic- (Transactional Analysis- Parks Inner Child Therapy;
Adaptive Information Processing Therapy (CBT Based)-Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy; Brain Spotting and Integral Eye Movements).

(Please see Blog section on the website for more details).

The ‘Transformation of Worth Process’ is NOT a one-size fits all approach.  It puts YOUfirmly at the heart of the process.  The exact techniques used, will depend on what’s going on for you right now and what you want to achieve.  It will also depend on experiences you may have had in the past and how they may be affecting you today.
